Who will win a championship first, LeBron James or the Miami Heat?

Will LeBron win another championship? The question is difficult to answer; however, as long as the Los Angeles Lakers have a healthy LeBron James and Anthony Davis, they will always be in contention for a title; therefore, they have a better chance than the Miami Heat. Both teams have core players signed for next season. The Lakers have LeBron, Davis, Kyle Kuzman, and Katavious Cawdell-Pope. The Heat have Butler, Bam, and Tyler Hero and have team options of Goren Dragic and Andre Iguodala. Now both teams have important decisions regarding other supporting casts. However, I give the edge to the Lakers. Realistically, I doubt that LeBron will win another title with the Lakers because too many teams are getting better in the West and East conferences that could contend for a title. In the past, LeBron could carry a team to the finals by himself; however, father time and an injury have caught up with LeBron. Unfortunately, he could not do it by himself. For the first time, LeBron lost a first-round

playoff series in 18 years.

There have been many rumors that Jimmy Butler was not on the same page as the Heat coaching staff. Would the New York Knicks consider trading for Jimmy Butler? I doubt he wants to come to New York; furthermore, there is bad blood between the Heat President Pat Riley and the New York Knicks. Pat Riley probably would never execute a trade with the Knicks and vice versa. The feud started when Pat was the Knicks coach in the 90s, and he faxed his resignation to the Knicks management. Besides, Pat Riley doesn’t believe in building through the draft; Riley prefers to obtain big-named players. Therefore he’s not giving up a potential superstar in Jimmy Butler for draft picks. These two teams had a fall from the bubble, which now really has made pundits question the legitimacy of their accomplishments within the NBA bubble. Both teams are at crossroads, which team will make the right decisions for their future.
